Two upper floor units of a historic Nob Hill apartment building were gutted, combined, and reconfigured to become an expansive two bedroom pied-á-terre with panoramic views of San Francisco.
Layers of rich materials float against the building’s original structural concrete, which remained exposed. The open plan scheme of the remodel incorporated several sliding door assemblies that helped to achieve a flexible integration of public and private living space.
